My name is Johanna and I have a great passion for wool and crafts.
I have been knitting and crocheting for a long time and have hoped to be able to share my hobby with others.
In 2021 I took the first step and founded Yarn Me Up, from which my Website and Ravelry shop developed. There I offer unique knitting pattern designs, made by me.

I hope I can give you some inspiration!
A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME
I am 30 years old and grew up in Erlangen, a town in Bavaria. I have a degree in Education & Sociology, but never really got into it.
That's why I immediately added a 3 year apprenticeship as a hair and make-up artist to my studies, for which I moved to Berlin. Even though I've tried a lot of things in life, my love for crafts and especially for knitting has always stayed with me!

In 2021 I decided to expand my passion for knitting in addition to my job as a hair and make-up artist.
I currently live with my husband and two cats back in Bavaria, where we live in the countryside.

I hope to give you an insight to my workspace and processes on my blog and to share my handicraft knowledge as well as tips & tricks with you. Maybe you can take some of it with you into your world!
