The Auri Shirt is a cropped shirt that is worked seamlessly from the top down. It features a beautiful cutout at the back, which can be closed at the hem with the help of two ties. It has a straight cut and a high collar.
The pattern gives the option of incorporating horizontal bust darts. There are eight different cup sizes that can be worked in exactly to your personal shape or left out. These sizes include cups A - H. A formula and explanation for calculating the individual cup size and why you can benefit from bust darts is also included in the pattern.
It’s not just the cups that can be customised! I tell you every time you can make an adjustment to various lengths or add optional back decreases to the Auri shirt in the pattern. So you can knit it to fit exactly how you want it!
The instructions are suitable for intermediate knitters as they include many different techniques. Almost all special techniques are explained step by step in pictures, nevertheless basic knowledge is required.
With the long ties, the shirt can be tied in different ways. Whether tied at the front or back, with or without a bow - you can wear it the way you like best.
The pattern is available on Ravelry and Etsy in English and in German:
