Today I have a little treat for you. I always enjoyed small project planners or so called bullet journals. To create such a planner yourself can be a lot of fun!
But maybe not everyone has the patience or muse to create one themselves, but would still like to use one. That's exactly what I have prepared for today: A knitting project planner for you to download for free!
Such journals can be used very well for our knitting projects. But what is such a planner and what is it good for?
Well, it's obviously a blueprint that is there to give you a structured overview of your projects. You can keep track of when you started and finished, what pattern you are knitting, the materials you need, a finished photo, and so on and so forth.
This gives you the possibility to refer to all this information in the future, if you need it again. Not always the given material information from designers matches your own. This could be included in a note in your project planner, for example, in case you might want to knit the pattern again.
Apart from that, it can be quite wonderful to look through your little planner at the end of the year or simply after some time and admire what you have actually knitted!
The 'special' thing about these bullet journals is that they are created with a lot of attention to detail and are beautiful to look at even by themselves. This makes it all the more fun to browse through your own projects!
My template for this craft planner is best suitable for a printout up to size DIN A4, although I would recommend you not to go smaller than A5, otherwise the printed becomes very small.
Of course, there are no limits to your creativity with your planner! So why not supplement the pre-printed planner with additional pages that you have designed yourself. A mood board for inspiration also always looks nice in a journal! This can include designs, drawings, yarn banderoles, small yarn samples, patterns, yarn scraps or whatever inspires you.

I would love to know if and how you document your projects! Are you very creative and a little free spirit or rather structured and neat?
