Start with the front piece. On the left is the LF, on the right the RF still on the working yarn.
Work all sts of the RV in established rib pattern, including the selvedge sts into the pattern.
At the end of the RF, cast on the sts for the front neckline using the Backward Loop method:
26 (26) 32 (36) 40 (36) 42 (48) 48 sts.
Now work all sts of the LF in established rib pattern, again including the selvedge sts into it. Make sure that the LF is facing you the right way around when joining!
At end of front piece, cast on sts for first underarm:
6 (8) 8 (10) 10 (10) 12 (12) 12 sts.
Then work all sts of back piece in established rib pattern, including the selvedge sts. Again make sure it is facing you the right way & nothing is twisted!
When you have worked all the sts of the back piece, the sts of the second underarm are cast on:
6 (8) 8 (10) 10 (10) 12 (12) 12 sts.
Then join the piece to the round and mark the BOR. Continue in the instructions.
